Please join Nat Low, Eli Davies, Keiko Utsumi, and Christine Hong for a presentation on the struggle for ethnic studies in Pajaro Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) against defamatory Zionist attack. For the past sixteen months, teachers, high school students, parents, ethnic studies educators, and community members have come out to school meetings, packing the room, to speak out for ethnic studies after a deeply respected ethnic studies educator was unjustly smeared as “antisemitic” because her pedagogical framework for ethnic studies included Palestine. Their efforts led to a turnover in three school board seats, but the struggle continues!
